The Lifelong Learning Program ? Level I Clinical Education in the field of Dogs is organized as an optional education program for veterinary doctors practicing in clinical veterinary medicine. It is designed to enhance the level of knowledge of veterinary doctors in clinical veterinary medicine.
The instruction is delivered by experts from universities offering accredited masters degree programs in veterinary medicine or veterinary hygiene, experts from the State Veterinary Administration, private veterinarians, and, where applicable, other specialists in the relevant field.
At the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno, the Lifelong Learning Program is supervised by the Internal Evaluation Board at the institutional level, the Lifelong Learning Board at the program level, and the guarantor of the Lifelong Learning Program - Clinical Education at the program-specific level.
The Level I Clinical Education in the field of Diseases of Zoo Animals is followed by Level II Clinical Education in the same field, which represents a higher level of difficulty focusing on specialized knowledge, skills, and experience.
The aim of Level I Clinical Education in the field of Diseases of Dogs is to build on undergraduate veterinary education and a minimum of three years of professional experience to deepen education at the level of practical knowledge, experience, and skills with a focus on clinical veterinary issues related to the diseases of zoo animals.
