Course description:

The Lifelong Learning Program Electrical Systems for Environmentally Friendly Transport covers the following topics: electric drives, power converters, energy storage, infrastructure power supply and charging systems, and control, communication and diagnostic systems for road and rail electromobility. The issue will be discussed with an emphasis on modern energy-efficient technologies with friendly environmental parameters, in the context of energy supply systems including renewable, primarily photovoltaic sources. The teaching will be conducted in a theoretical and practical form. Within the framework of laboratory tasks, course participants will have the opportunity to become familiar with real technical means and components for electric road and rail transport.
