The Lifelong Learning Program - Level I Clinical Training in Swine Diseases is governed by Act No. 166/1999 Coll., on Veterinary Care and Amendments to Certain Related Acts (the Veterinary Act); Decree No. 331/2021 Coll., on the Organization of Education for Veterinarians in Clinical Veterinary Medicine; Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments to Other Acts (the Higher Education Act), as amended; the Statute of the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno; the Lifelong Learning Regulations of the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno; and the Rules for Ensuring the Quality of Educational, Creative, and Related Activities and the Internal Evaluation of the Quality of Educational, Creative, and Related Activities of the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno.
The Lifelong Learning Program - Level I Clinical Training in Swine Diseases is organized as an optional education program for veterinarians working in clinical veterinary medicine. It is intended to deepen the knowledge of veterinarians in clinical veterinary medicine. The instruction is provided by specialists from the university offering accredited master's degree programs in veterinary medicine or veterinary hygiene, the State Veterinary Administration, private veterinarians, and other experts in the relevant field. At the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno, the Lifelong Learning Program is supervised by the Internal Evaluation Board, at the lifelong learning program level by the Lifelong Learning Board, and at the program level by the guarantor of the Lifelong Learning ? Clinical Training Program.
The Level I Clinical Training in Swine Diseases is followed by the Level II Clinical Training in Swine Diseases program, which represents a higher level of difficulty with specialized knowledge, experience, and skills.
The aim of the Level I Clinical Training in Swine Diseases is to build on undergraduate education, where the qualification of a veterinarian is obtained, and three years of professional experience in the field. The program enhances education at the level of practical knowledge, experience, and skills with a focus on clinical veterinary issues in swine diseases.
