Course description:

The course aims to introduce modern communication systems' principles, focusing mainly on the design and system solutions of contemporary radio transmitters, receivers, and antenna subsystems. The participants' knowledge of the design of high-frequency receivers and transmitters will be increased significantly in terms of block arrangement, linear and non-linear distortion, and properties of the used oscillators. Furthermore, the participants are introduced to the design of antenna elements, synthesis of antenna arrays, and principles of measuring the parameters of antenna systems.
