Course description:

The educational module is focused on familiarizing participants with the legal regulations governing the performance of electrical engineering activities, safe execution and safe operation of electrical installations, occupational safety and health protection, rules for the safe operation and operation of electrical equipment, fire protection and first aid in the event of an electric shock.

The module includes a professional competence test for the performance of electrical engineering activities in accordance with Act No. 250/2022 Coll. and Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll., upon successful completion of which participants will obtain the qualification of a person knowledgeable for independent activity. The module does not replace professional qualification in the sense of electrical engineering education.

Through practical training, participants will become familiar with modern elements, devices and methods of performing electrical installations in civil construction objects, both within the framework of classical and system electrical installations. Emphasis is placed on personal safety, property protection and environmental friendliness.

Course content:

The MC module is designed as 13 two- to three-hour blocks that combine theoretical teaching and practical training: 9 two-hour blocks take place in the lecture room and focus on theoretical knowledge. 4 three-hour blocks will take place in the laboratory classroom, where participants will acquire practical procedures and skills. The module also includes a written test, which serves as the first stage of testing and at the same time as a verification of the knowledge necessary for entry into the laboratory. During the practical part, consultations will also take place on practical implementation and verification of the connections between the presented topics. Furthermore, self-study, preparation for the test, preparation for a joint consultation, demanding preparation for the exam before the committee and its completion are expected, in a total of 74 hours. Successful completion of the oral examination before the expert committee is a condition for obtaining a certificate. In total, 104 hours.
