Study

Graduates have in-depth knowledge of at least one religious tradition, can study it using original source language texts and are well-acquainted with secondary literature. They have a command of the methodology of religious studies, can compare the knowledge attained by the study of their major religion with other religions and generally reflect upon them. Graduates can engage in professional scientific work at an international level and have no difficulty publishing the results of their research in academic journals. Their training allows them to work as scholars and researchers in the field of humanities or as university teachers. Knowledge of the different religious environments qualifies them for professions at the interface of different cultures, e.g. diplomacy, journalism, international organisations, etc.
