Study

Graduates have a solid grasp of the main branches of physics and advanced knowledge of the key subjects of theoretical physics, including statistical physics, general theory of relativity and quantum theory. They have gained a deeper understanding of more specialized areas of theoretical physics depending on the topic of their diploma thesis and on their selection from a broad choice of elective courses. In addition, they achieved expertise in widely applicable mathematical and numerical methods, as well as proficiency in English necessary for professional communication. The acquired education qualifies graduates for pursuing scientific research in the field and prepares them more generally for work positions involving analysis and modelling of complex natural or social processes.
