Study

After completing the study programme, you will be able to: - critically analyse and interpret advanced economic theories and models, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, institutional economics and other areas of economics; - conduct independent scientific research, formulate research questions and hypotheses and test them through qualitative and quantitative methods; - design and implement research projects, present results at scientific forums, publish in professional journals and communicate complex concepts to professional and non-professional audiences; - apply economic models and theories to real issues in economic policy, market regulation, economic crises, public administration, the private sector, international institutions and long-term economic development strategies; - identify complex economic problems, propose solutions based on critical data analysis and evaluate policy impacts at regional, national and international levels; - follow principles of research integrity, transparency and responsibility; - work in an international environment, communicate with experts from different countries and join international research projects.

The Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) is the largest economics-focused university in Czechia and one of the leading business schools in Central and Eastern Europe. You can choose from degree programmes in economics, finance, management, informatics and international relations, taught in Czech and English.
