The aim of the study is to provide students with sufficient knowledge and skills, allowing them to identify, analyse and solve a variety of problems in finance and accounting sphere, which they might encounter during their future careers. The programme, which is a merge of two separate disciplines – finance and accounting, is unusual at the Czech universities, but it is comparable to the similar programmes at foreign universities. Concurrent focus on finance and accounting also increases the graduates’ chances on the labour market as their wider range offers them more job possibilities as well as their greater flexibility.

Study

After graduation, you will be able to: - apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice, emphasising the ability to critically evaluate the problem and its analysis, to propose solutions to that problem and to use teamwork skills in solving tasks, - practice a profession based on finance and accounting at the corporate level, both nationally and particularly in the international environment and context, - understand the modern trends in corporate management and the context of the company's operation in terms of pan-European economic and social development as well as corporate social responsibility.
