The bachelor's degree programme in Taxation and Tax Policy prepares you as a professional focused on tax issues. In the course of studies, the student will gain a broad overview of economic disciplines of theoretical and practical focus, with particular emphasis on knowledge in general economics and accounting. The programme also includes the necessary legal knowledge. Graduates will find employment not only in tax administration bodies, but also in the management of larger companies with independent tax planning agendas and may find employment in tax consultancy and in the field of corporate financial management and institutions focused on tax policy.

After graduation, you will be able to: - assess the basic tax problems solved in practice in the Czech Republic, analyse their links to standard business situations, propose an optimal solution for taxpayer and tax administration and present and defend their proposal, - apply current knowledge and practical skills of taxation not only in the context of the Czech Republic, but also in the context of the basic characteristics of taxation in the EU, - find and present innovative alternative solutions to the problems of tax optimisation and tax compliance at both microeconomic and macroeconomic levels, - use database and software products in the area of their specialisation and use soft skills within the scope of their professional profile, including professional communication not only in the Czech language.
