University of Pardubice - Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics
The Master’s programme in Communication and Radar Systems aims to prepare university-educated specialists in communication, localization, microwave, and radar technologies. The programme is engineering-oriented, focusing on modern technologies used in both industry and research. It prepares graduates for positions as development engineers and systems engineers in organisations involved in the design, research, development, production, and system integration of electronic systems. Teaching is supported by state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, where students validate theoretical knowledge through practical experiments, deepening their understanding and improving their employability. The programme also offers opportunities to participate in research activities in cooperation with industry partners and academic projects.
The application to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the University of Pardubice is submitted electronically via the e-application system. Applicants select a study programme, fill in the required information, and submit the application online; it is neither printed nor sent by post. After registration, a field-specific application number is generated, which can be used to track the application status. The process includes payment of an administrative fee of CZK 650, which is non-refundable and must be paid for each application by bank transfer or online payment. The application is considered submitted only after the fee has been paid.
Graduates of the Communication and Radar Systems programme possess in-depth theoretical knowledge in signal processing, advanced electronic circuits, microwave engineering, antenna systems, and modern communication and localization technologies. They apply this knowledge primarily in radar systems, microwave technology, communication systems, and positioning systems. Graduates are employed as independent development engineers or systems engineers in companies focused on the development, production, installation, and operation of electronic devices and systems for radar and sensor technology, localization, information, and communication systems. They may also work as senior technical specialists or research and development engineers in the field of electronic systems.
