The follow-up Master’s degree programme Bioanalytical Laboratory Diagnostics in Healthcare is a professionally oriented programme focused on preparing students for the regulated profession of “Specialist in Laboratory Methods and Preparation of Medicinal Products” in accordance with Section 25 of Decree No. 39/2005 Coll. and Section 26 of Act No. 96/2004 Coll. The scope of this regulated profession includes a wide range of specialisations, such as clinical biochemistry, microbiology, clinical genetics and molecular biology, or immunology and allergology.

You can pursue careers in clinical and diagnostic laboratories of various specialisations, whether in hospitals, specialised private laboratories, or assisted reproduction clinics. Opportunities are also available in forensic laboratories and laboratories focused on food and water testing. Graduates may also find employment in pharmaceutical and diagnostic method development, the conduct of preclinical studies, and quality control.
