The Bachelor’s study programme Archaeology is aimed at theory and methods used in archaeology, and prehistoric, medieval and modern archaeology. Moreover, it provides students with the possibility to put their theoretical knowledge into practice in laboratories, or during educational excursions or summer field trips organized by the department.

Study

You gain insight into modern archaeology and learn how to work with the knowledge and skills gained. You learn how to work with modern software programmes and become familiar with various processes related to archaeological research. You master two world languages. After graduation, you can find employment in archaeological institutes or institutions with a similar focus. Moreover, they gain the possibility of continuing their studies, whether in Pilsen or at another domestic or foreign university.
