Graduates of the study programme Product Design have refined inventiveness and rich experience of working with designers and companies and, therefore, they will find a job easily. *********** The study programme Design Modelling will be renamed Claymodelling. The main focus of this studio will be the design and creation of professional full-size models (cars, motorcycles, etc.). You learn how to design and create models both manually and with the support of up-to-date technologies which are commonly used in modern car factories. *********** The studio Industrial Design focuses on transportation design, especially on the design of means of transport such as motorbikes, trains or trams. Moreover, it covers the design of machines and equipment for industrial companies. Graduates of the study programme Product Design have refined inventiveness and rich experience of working with designers and companies and, therefore, they will find a job easily. *********** Students of this attractive programme learn how to design individual pieces of furniture, furniture sets or entire interiors,and they focus their attention on interior design. *********** Fashion Design is a very attractive specialization whose students have been successful in many European and global competitions. During your studies, students have the possibility to participate in internship programmes offered by Czech and European fashion houses. You will not only design, but also present their creations of clothes, shoes or accessories at spectacular fashion shows. *********** This study programme is dedicated to ceramic design. Students focus on work with ceramics, and create large-scale objects placed in public space, or architectural accessories, such as tiling and paving. You learn how to use unconventional methods, work with various materials and create objects for everyday use. *********** Environmental Design for Architecture unites the elements of design and architecture and focuses on the creation of spatial solutions in the landscape, urban environment, indoors, or in any space that needs to be considered in terms of the impact of human activity.

Study

You learn how to design new products from basic sketching to the final model, either independently or as team members. Moreover, they gain in-depth knowledge and skills, such as work with graphic software and creation of models. After graduation, you can work as independent designers, or become members of design teams in small and medium enterprises, construction and project companies, advertising and graphic studios or regional design offices. *********** You gain in-depth knowledge and skills which enable them to create models and prototypes, especially for the automotive industry. Graduates with knowledge of claymodelling will find employment in any car factory either in Czechia or abroad. After graduation, you can find employment in design studios creating models for the automotive industry. As a result, they will take up key positions in European or global car factories. *********** You learn how to design new products for industrial companies from basic sketching to the final model, either independently or as team members. They gain in-depth knowledge and skills, such as work with graphic software programs and creation of models. Moreover, they gain insight into graphic design, photography, painting and modelling. Graduates of this study programme become independent designers or members of design teams in small and medium-sized companies, construction or project companies or regional design offices. *********** You learn how to put their knowledge and skills into practice, they gain insight into ergonomics and work with professional graphic software programs. Graduates will be able to design a model or prototype of a piece or set of furniture. After graduation, you can find employment as independent designers or members of design teams in companies focused on interior and furniture design, as well as in construction and project offices. *********** You learn how design clothes, shoes and accessories, as well as how to use various crafts for their creation. Therefore, they gain in-depth understanding of work with various materials, the creation of patterns and sewing. You learn how to experiment with traditional and modern materials. After graduation, they can launch their own fashion brand, or work as a fashion designer for renowned fashion houses or as an expert advisor in the fashion industry. *********** This study programme places emphasis on the mastery of sculptural skills in a variety of techniques and technologies, as well as on improving students' abilities to express themselves through shape and organization of space. You learn various creative procedures, will closely cooperate with engineers and deepen their knowledge thanks to their cooperation with ceramics companies which use specialized production equipment. After graduation, students become independent creators or find employment in cultural institutions. *********** You will concentrate on various activities including basic environmental considerations, sketches, and the creation of final models designed with appropriate materials, in correct scale, and with different visualization techniques. They gain in-depth knowledge and will be able to apply the means of expression and handicraft techniques, as well as work with professional graphic editors in interdisciplinary production, which focuses on topics such as landscape ecology, plant ecology, biodiversity, nighttime conservation, environmental sociology, and more. Studies and work will take place in both the studio and the to-be-designed space. You learn to implement their ideas and proposals either individually or in a team, as it is crucial for them to understand that solving such a complex issue as collision-free human life on Earth should be a matter of course and a necessity. Their work will be artistic, scientific, philosophical, and psychological. They will always focus on the artistic value of their work and bear the responsibility for the environment. Moreover, they will strive to spread their environmentally-focused ideas. The credo of our studio is: "No aesthetics without ethics". After graduation, you can work as independent designers or members of design teams in companies centred on the optimization of human activity in areas such as culture, sports, education, housing, tourism, industry, science, gastronomy, etc.
