Students of this programme are able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the basic trends related to the development of geographical thinking. They get an overview of scientific geographical publications, journals and research activities and become familiar with all geographic disciplines. You learn the basics of various spheres of natural sciences and understand global issues in a broad context.

In addition to physical and human geography, students focus on cartography and topography. They are able to use elementary analytical and synthetic methods of geographical research and apply them in specific situations. Moreover, you learn how to work with information technologies, including GIS. They focus on educational and psychological topics. After graduation, you can continue your studies in the Master’s degree programme Teacher Training in Geography for Elementary or Secondary School. Moreover, they can find employment in state administration.
