This Master’s study programme is aimed at close cooperation with publishers. Students develop their creative expression, as the main focus is placed on a high level of artistic creativity. *********** This study programme is aimed at work on specific orders. It is focused on the recognition of the importance and nature of information and in the choice of appropriate means of expression, such as colour, symbol, expression, function, font, hierarchy, image, shape, and composition. Attention is paid to the meaning and the information level of a graphic design assignment and related professional responsibilities, as well as to the interpretation of an artwork by means of an artistic shortcut. *********** The follow-up Master’s degree programme is focused on the recognition of the importance and nature of information and on the choice of appropriate means of expression, such as colour, symbol, expression, function, font, hierarchy, image, shape, and composition. Attention is paid to the meaning and the information level of a graphic design assignment and to related professional responsibilities, as well as to interpretation of an artwork by means of an artistic shortcut. *********** During your studies, students focus on the current development of the genre of comics and its role in education and the modern world. Attention is paid to different categories of illustration for children, such as folding picture books, colouring books and different varieties of folding books, as well as to books for young readers, school textbooks and teaching aids.

Students participate in large projects, such as illustrations of educational or fiction books, many of which will be published. You deepen their knowledge of traditional illustration methods in digital form and learn how to use the methods of applied illustration. Graduates become independent artists, illustrators of books for children and adults, or designers of teaching aids, to name a few. *********** You gain the necessary artistic and technical skills, you learn how to work with professional graphic editors and how to design informational and social posters, books, art books, catalogues, magazines, business cards, logos, or packaging design. Graduates become independent creators, or have the possibility to work as graphic designers, advertising graphics, infographics, web designers, etc. *********** You learn how to create public awareness posters, books, art books, catalogues, magazines, business cards, logos, or packaging design. Students can work with graphical editors on a professional level. After graduation, you can work as independent creators or as members of creative teams in graphics, advertising and DTP studios, museums, galleries and other cultural institutions, in educational institutions, public administration, business and enterprise, in web design, or in publishing. *********** You learn how to use various traditional and modern graphic techniques related to drawing and its varieties. You deepen their knowledge of a wide range of different types of comics: entertaining, educational, promotional and informational. They will create personal projects. You gain insight into the basics of dramaturgy, screenwriting and animation. After graduation, students become independent creators or join creative teams in publishing, graphics, advertising and DTP studios, museums, galleries and other cultural and educational institutions.
